Statement of Intent

This is the statement of intent for our crime documentary that was written by Rachelle, Jasmine, and I.

Self-reflection:

Making the statement of intent was time-consuming and I didn't really enjoy the process of it. The first few parts up until the message section was alright, however it started going downhill in the parts regarding the characters and  representations (groups, places, events). This is as there were continuous drastic changes in the script that made us have to keep modifying these questions as well when we though that we finished already as the basis to answering those questions was from the contents of the script. Our solution for this, though looking back was quite ineffective and will avoid doing in the future, was just leaving it for a while until the script was finalized so that in the case of changes, we would just make all the changes in the statement of intent in entirely in one go in the end. Through all the complications, because the statement of intent is really detailed, I can use it as a foundation for answering some questions in the critical self reflection as well.
